As Donald Trump gears up for another presidential bid, a growing chorus of right-wing influencers is voicing concern over the effectiveness of his campaign strategy. These influencers, many of whom have been staunch supporters of Trump, are now publicly questioning whether the campaign is adequately prepared to secure a victory in the upcoming election.
Among the most vocal critics is Laura Loomer, a conspiracy theorist known for her inflammatory rhetoric and staunch support of Trump. Loomer, who has been praised by Trump in the past, took to the social media platform X on Thursday to express her frustration. “President Trump needs to make some serious changes in his campaign ASAP,” she wrote, highlighting a litany of issues she believes are plaguing the campaign. “The ground game is not sufficient. The offense is lacking. The communication is dismal. The momentum is crashing. Why are people who want to assist being pushed away instead of being embraced?”
Loomer’s comments underscore a growing sense of unease among some of Trump’s most ardent supporters. Despite her controversial reputation, her critique resonated with many within the MAGA movement, sparking a heated debate online about the current state of Trump’s campaign.
President Trump needs to make some serious changes in his campaign ASAP.
The ground game is not sufficient.
The offense is lacking.
The communication is dismal.
The momentum is crashing.
Why are people who want to assist being pushed away instead of being embraced?

The dissatisfaction is not limited to Loomer. Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist and vocal supporter of Trump, echoed similar concerns. Fuentes, who gained notoriety after attending a dinner with Trump, described the campaign as being in a “death spiral.” His grievances were met with a wave of backlash, but his sentiments also found support among some corners of the far-right.
“Guys, we do not have a ground game,” lamented John Cardillo, a conservative pundit, on X. He criticized the decision to outsource critical campaign functions to Turning Point USA (TPUSA) and other pro-Trump groups, calling it a sign that the campaign is not serious about winning. “Outsourcing that most critical function to TPUSA Action and two other untested PACs are not the actions of a campaign serious about winning. Frankly, it’s insane,” Cardillo wrote.
Cardillo’s remarks did not go unnoticed. TPUSA members and affiliates quickly defended their efforts, insisting that their work on behalf of Trump has been effective and should not be underestimated. However, the fact that such criticisms are being aired publicly points to a deeper concern within the movement.
The Trump campaign is in a death spiral.
I have been saying it since he announced in 2022 & especially in the past few months. Everybody said I was insane.
He has no ground game, no ad spending, Vance sucks, & the messaging is totally unfocused. He will lose if nothing changes.

These rifts within Trump’s base reveal a broader uncertainty about the future of his campaign. With the stakes higher than ever, the discontent among some of Trump’s key supporters could spell trouble as the campaign moves forward. The division in MAGA world is palpable, with many wondering whether the campaign can rally the base and reclaim the momentum that once seemed unstoppable.
As the election draws nearer, the pressure on Trump’s campaign to address these concerns will only intensify. For now, the public infighting among his supporters serves as a stark reminder that even the most loyal followers can become disillusioned when they feel victory is slipping away. How Trump and his team respond to this growing wave of criticism may very well determine the outcome of his bid for the White House.
